The Bollywood City of India - Mumbai

Formerly known as Bombay, Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra, an Indian state. It is also known as the financial capital of India and is the most populous city in India. As Mumbai lies on the west coast of India, it is one of the important ports in India. It is home to many financial institutions like the Reserve Bank of India, the Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange and headquarter to many Indian and Multi-national companies. As the city offers many opportunities for earning, a major population of India migrates to city to earn its livelihood.

Mumbai is place where different cultures mix in different colors. Even the cuisines enjoyed in Mumbai restaurants have the influence of not only Maharashtra and Gujarat but of whole India. Mumbaikars love to celebrate Western as well as Indian festivals with great pleasure. Mumbai is the glamorous city of India as it features the Indian Film Industry. Mumbai has everything from rich corporate executives to slum-dwellers. Mumbai streets are vibrant in life, the nightlife is also lively and the markets sell everything.

In Mumbai, tourists can have also visit some world heritage sites like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Elephanta Caves and many other popular places like Nariman Point, Girgaum Chowpatti, Juhu Beach and Marine Drive.
